Privacy Policy#

Effective date: June 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what CapaKit collects and does not collect through the CapaKit website, documentation, downloadable CapaKit CLI, Registry access, and support channels.

Scope#

CapaKit is currently the CapaKit runtime and CLI toolkit, documentation, Registry metadata, and demo Kits. CapaKit does not currently provide hosted accounts, hosted workspaces, payments, or managed runtime services.

CapaKit CLI and Runtime Privacy#

The CapaKit CLI and runtime do not include telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, or other phone-home behavior by default.

The CapaKit CLI may make network requests when you explicitly use features that need the network, such as fetching Registry data, downloading demo Kits, pulling dependencies, or connecting to third-party services you configure.

We do not collect your Kits, AI apps, Workloads, local file contents, prompts, secrets, API keys, environment variables, generated outputs, or command history through the CapaKit CLI or runtime.

Website Analytics#

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and page performance.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect or use visitors' personal data. We do not use website analytics for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.

Cloudflare may also process ordinary request metadata for hosting, security, abuse prevention, and network operations for the website.

Registry Access#

The CapaKit Registry is hosted on GitHub. If you use CapaKit CLI features that access the Registry, your device may contact GitHub to fetch Registry metadata or Kit resources.

GitHub may receive request metadata such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs under GitHub's own policies. CapaKit does not control GitHub's logging, retention, or privacy practices.

Support and Public Issues#

If you contact us by email, submit a GitHub issue, or participate in another support channel, we process the information you choose to provide so we can understand, respond to, and track the request.

GitHub Issues and other public channels are public. Do not include secrets, credentials, private code, confidential information, customer data, or other sensitive information in public reports.

Third-Party Services#

CapaKit may interact with third-party services you choose to use, such as GitHub, Docker, package registries, model providers, MCP servers, or other developer tools.

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for reviewing and configuring them appropriately for your use case.

What We Do Not Do#

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not run targeted advertising.
  • We do not require CapaKit user accounts.
  • We do not process payments for the CapaKit CLI.
  • We do not collect CapaKit CLI telemetry by default.

Retention#

We retain support emails, issue reports, and related communications for as long as needed to respond, maintain project history, resolve disputes, enforce terms, or comply with legal obligations.

Website analytics are aggregate and vendor-managed through Cloudflare.

Changes#

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when this page was last updated.
